Shortland Chambers has been recognised in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific guide for 2024.
Shortland Chambers as a set was noted as ‘a pre-eminent chambers’ and ‘a leading commercial litigation set in Auckland’. Referee testimonials described Chambers as being ‘a leading set which has many silks with top level expertise’, with ‘a great depth of talent’ and containing ‘top barristers in all areas of commercial law’.
A large number of barristers who practise from Shortland Chambers have also been recognised in the individual rankings, with 10 of the 21 barristers named as Leading Silks practising from Shortland Chambers.
Members Alan Galbraith KC, Jack Hodder KC, Stephen Hunter KC and Clive Elliott KC were all ranked in Tier 1 for Leading Silks for Commercial Disputes.
David Bigio KC, Greg Blanchard KC, Bruce Gray KC, Bob Hollyman KC, Daniel McLellan KC and Jenny Cooper KC were named as Leading Silks in Tier 2 for Commercial Disputes.
Kevin Glover, Nura Taefi were listed in Tier 1 of Leading Barristers-Sole for Commercial Disputes.
