Members announce Borrin Foundation Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Postgraduate Scholarship awarded to junior barrister, Jacobi Kohu-Morris

The members of Shortland Chambers are delighted to announce that junior barrister Jacobi Kohu-Morris has been awarded a Borrin Foundation Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Postgraduate Scholarship.

Jacobi joined Chambers’ junior barrister programme in February 2023.  He was previously a judge’s clerk at the Court of Appeal, having graduated with his LLB (Hons) / BA from Otago University in 2021.

Jacobi will commence his LLM in the United Kingdom later this year.  He will focus on jurisprudence, legal history, constitutional theory and advanced private law.  We wish him all the best.
