Adam practises in civil, corporate, and commercial law, and regulatory crime (securities, corporate, trade practices, environmental). He is available to accept instructions as counsel but also accepts appointments as arbitrator or mediator.

With a career that spans 30 years, Adam has a wealth of knowledge and experience. In 1996, he joined Chapman Tripp’s litigation department as a partner, where he worked for 18 years on a broad range of cases, and on corporate and commercial advisory matters.

During this time, Adam was recognised by Chambers & Partners as a "Band 1" lawyer in litigation, dispute resolution and insurance. Other notable awards include the Cleary Memorial Prize, and Fulbright, Rotary and Spencer Mason Scholarships.

Adam commenced practice as a barrister sole at Shortland Chambers in March 2015. Since then he has enjoyed a diverse civil and commercial law practice. He has been retained by instructing law firms and in-house corporate lawyers from around the country and has appeared regularly in first instance and appellate courts.  He is also available for appointments as mediator and arbitrator.
