Shortland Chambers is pleased to announce that Bronwyn Carruthers has joined as a member. Prior to moving to the independent bar, Bronwyn was an Environmental, Planning and Natural Resources partner for 7 years at the highly respected Auckland firm Russell McVeagh.
Bronwyn practices in environmental, resource management and local government law. Bronwyn advises a wide range of clients including infrastructure providers, corporates, individuals and not for profit organisations. She not only assists with obtaining consents for projects, but also with plan making, judicial review, declarations, enforcement action and law reform.
We wish Bronwyn well in her career at the bar.
Shortland Chambers held its annual cocktail party for the Auckland legal profession on Thursday 10 October 2017 at the Northern Club.
The guest speaker was Retirement Commissioner Diane Maxwell. Ms Maxwell’s speech was delightful and entertaining, which was pleasing to the different age groups at our event.
A great success.
This was the 11th annual cocktail party which chambers has held, and we look forward to hosting another in 2018.
