Bruce has led trials and hearings in cases involving tort law, contracts of insurance, sale, purchase and valuation of shares in businesses, international trade, ownership of intellectual property, sale of goods, media law and defamation, and trusts.

In public law, Bruce has appeared in cases involving Judicial Review of administrative action, Inquiries, Fisheries, Local Government and property development, political parties and elections.
